Your photo shoot will take place either at your home or a lovely location outdoors. I do not have a studio, but do not be concerned by this, as my indoor photography shoots all have the studio experience. I am equipped with studio lights and portable backdrops of different colours to suit all your requirements.

As we cannot control the elements and it is raining, I will work with. you to reschedule to another date. I will always work to ensure you are not inconvenienced in terms of rescheduling your photoshoot, even if it means doing an extra shoot on a particular day.

Depending on your family size and requirementrs, my photo shoots are between 1 and 2 hours. However, time is not an issue as we will continue until all the images you require are taken. For my Family Mini Sessions, these run for up to 45 minutes.

No. I love getting in my car and driving to all locations, so please do contact me if you are outside of my general area. As long as another shoot is not compromised, I can travel to any area.

I charge £99 for a shoot with me during a weekday and £150 at weekends. Please note this is to confirm your booking with me and does not include, prints, digital images and framing. Once you have had your session and have viewed your images, you can choose the package you would like. This can be digital only; I charge £199 for 10 images and £299 for 20. For packages that include prints and mounts my popular packages are £449 and £549.

You can book with me between one and 3 months ahead. However, do contact me anytime to see if a date within the current month or next is available. For bookings during Autumn and Winter, you should look at booking very soon and getting your favoured slot.

This really depends on whether your session is indoors or outdoors and how you want your images to look; whether relaxed or very formal. The general consensus is to wear comfortable clothing. You can all wear the same colours or mix and match. It really is up to you. One main advice i give is not wear clothing with big logos or anything shimmery, as this can detract from your faces and take away from all the emotion the images should show. Also, I do advise that all clothing, make-up and hair is immaculate as the camera picks up on everything that does not look right.

Yes, you definiltely can. I have make-up artists, qualified through Charlotte Tilbury that can do your make-up for you. Please note that you will need to be ready for them at least 90 minutes before your photo session with me. You will also liaise with them directly, and your make-up fee is separate to your photo session.

I will direct you smoothly into the right light when it is sunny and I can see shadows on your face that will not make the image right. Also, I will guide you on how to sit/stand and where to put your hands and relax your shoulders. The best images are those that are natural where you are interacting as a family. The best images are taken this way and especially for the children who interact more naturally when not being guided and do their own thing. You get the real feel of their character in this manner. On one shoot, the little girl just was not interested at first, and so I started with the mother and two sons. Once the little girl saw how much fun everyone was having, she walked over and got invovled and was even happy to do poses on her own. With much younger children, it is always best to let them get involved when theiy're ready.
